plastic toothbrush —> bamboo toothbrush; eco warrior, package free

plastic floss container —> refillable glass floss container; package free

plastic hair brusher —> bamboo brush and combs; eco tools, package free

bottled soap —> soap bars, drunk elephant, zero waste cartel

A little more advanced swaps

Gas vehicle —> bike if you are within a 10 mile radius of your destination. I traded in my Nissan Altima for a KHS urban Xpress and I will never look back. Skateboard if you are within a 5 mile radius of destination. My friend is 6 miles from her job and she uses a penny board for her daily commute. (I still use a car for longer commutes but when I am doing something local I opt for the bike. A car is needed in this world, I do not expect people to go without one.)

Books and magazines —> Zinio or Magzter for magazines. Kindle, apple books, google play books for your reading.

Notebooks and paper —> pages, word, GoodNotes, Evernote on an iPad or laptop.

Sketchbooks and Markers —> Procreate and other drawing apps that you can download on a tablet.
